The Sims series started very long ago, and it used to be very simple indeed. With the release of the fifth part, the game becomes more and more akin to real life we all live on this side of the computer screen. There are some new options of spending time in the virtual world of The Sims 5, interacting with the incredibly rich gaming environment and NPC, as well as upgrading your own character!

New clothes with new characters

As usual, it all starts in the character editor. The choice of appearance options and clothing items is just immense, and now you can regulate literally any aspect of your Sim’s look. You can come up with a totally unique hero that won’t have any analogues in the game. Don’t like the color of the custom hairstyle? Change it for every part of the hair individually! You can adjust the very skin tone you like and choose just the right angle of your character’s nose. Clothes are also available in a great quantity – there are ready costumes that you can put on if you’re too lazy to edit your Sim or you can combine the items at will changing their color and pattern as you see fit. For each occasion (regular, official, home etc) there can be several different outfits, so fans of dressing up will be happy!

The same refers to your house. When you buy one, it already has a certain design and a set of basic accommodations. But it’s up to you to purchase new furniture, change the layout of the rooms or even build a new residence completely in the place of the old one. The building is done in several easy steps that are intuitive and understandable. You can change the color of the walls or your sofa on the go without any trouble. And if one of the things in your house gets worn out, you can easily replace it with the same and all it takes is just one click of your mouse! Would be great if we could do it in real life too, eh?

The best job of life

However, to afford all this, you’ll need a job. Feel free to choose any of the professions available in the city. For that, you only need to read the local newspaper and flip through the job offer sections, surf the internet or hover the cursor around the city map looking into different buildings and seeing what kind of jobs are available there. It’s a great way to find one not too far from where you live. In the same way, you can decide where you will go out tonight.
